Dakota Vines Vineyard and Winery is an agritourism business dedicated to producing high-quality North Dakota and regional cold climate grape and fruit wines. Opened in 2018, Dakota Vines offers visitors the opportunity to learn about new varietals of grapes that survive and thrive in cold climates, and sample/buy wine in a rural North Dakota setting.
Bob Grosz – Vineyard and Winery Manager, Winemaker
Bob Grosz has over 30 years of experience in public school education, including experience as a teacher, principal, and associate superintendent. Bob is currently the Associate Superintendent for the Fargo Public Schools. Bob has experience with district budgeting, employee management, and events coordination. Bob has been an adjunct professor at North Dakota State University, teaching classes to master’s level students in the evening and during the summer. He has a doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of North Dakota and has completed all coursework toward a degree in Enology (winemaking). He has been a home winemaker since 2004.
Deb Grosz – Sales and Tasting Room Manager
Deb Grosz began her career in 1989 as a 4th grade teacher. She spent ten years teaching in various elementary and middle school classrooms before moving to Concordia College where she served as the Director of Field Experiences for from 1999-2020. After retiring from Concordia, Deb returned to K-12 education and is now working as an academic interventionst for the Fargo Public Schools. Deb has a doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of North Dakota.
Bob and Deb have three adult children and four awesome grandchildren who are wonderful helpers at Papa and Nana's winery.
